ExIF – Intelligent Robotic Exoskeleton and Advanced Man Machine Interface Systems for Maintenance works in the Industries of the Future

• Description:

The ExIF project arises from the need to eliminate or reduce musculoskeletal disorders (TME) caused by manual movement of heavy loads, poor posture and repetition of movements associated with the installation and maintenance of industrial facilities. The ExIF project proposes the development of an upper-limb robotic exoskeleton supported by an exoskeleton-type structure for the lower limbs to be employed in the workplace and an advanced human-machine interface system based on Augmented Reality techniques linked with a Integral system of industrial maintenance. The human-machine interface will have cognitive capabilities that allow it to be proactive based on the analysis of the context and the environment.
