EXOEPI: Robotic technologies applied to the development of new smart and sustainable intervention boots

• Description:

EXOEPI will be developed by three partners: INESCOP, PANTER AND RAI-ROBOTICS AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FROM UMH. The main objective of the EXOEPI project is to develop a protective footwear (personal protective equipment-PPE) for long-lasting emergency activities, which incorporates an integrated exoskeleton that helps the user to develop gait movements, reducing fatigue and enhancing performance. For this, it will be necessary to develop the exoskeleton that helps to carry out the movements of the ankle, the associated PPE footwear and the integration of both, ensuring the continuity of the protection benefits of the PPE to the worker and evaluating the added value that the exoskeleton provides with compared to conventional PPE.
